A little bit about myself:
From an early age I have been trekking and adventure travelling in the Everest Region of Nepal (Chaurikharka 2, Solukhumbu). My father, Ang Kazi Sherpa, was a trekking guide for over 25 years and my mother is the owner of Buddha Lodge in Chaurikharka, which is an easy walk from Lukla. At the age of 18, I started as an assistant guide during my school vacation. Having years of experience guiding clients from all over the world has allowed me to improve my English and German language skills. I also trained as a monk for 5 years in the Kopan Monastery, Kathmandu.
In 2005 I became a Government Licensed guide and in 2006 began working as a professional English and German speaking guide.
For the past 10 years I have worked in Europe (during both the summer and winter seasons) in Alpine Huts:
I have undergone various Alpine Rescue training courses both in Bolzano, South Tirol and Nepal with the coordination of Rescue course with International Commission for Alpine Rescue: ICAR, Mountain Rescue South-Tirol (Bergrettungs Sued Tirol), Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal and Nepal International Clinic.
Thank you for visiting our site, and we look forward to our travels together!
